Start clean and dry
Wash and dry your hands. Adhesive only bonds to a clean, dry surface.
Tidy the nail
Gently push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick and lightly file your free edge. Keep natural nails even so the press-on sits flush.
Buff for grip
Pass the buffer lightly over each nail to take off the shine — you want a matte surface, no shine. Wipe each nail with the enclosed alcohol wipe to strip away dust and natural oils.
Match and lay out
Set each press-on beside its finger and confirm the fit; the tip should sit just inside your sidewalls feeling comfortable, not tight. Pinch the edge down slightly if a nail runs wide.
Apply a thin layer of glue
Choose the amount of glue based on how long you'd like to wear your nails.
- For short-term wear: Apply a thin, even layer of glue to your natural nail only.
- For longer wear: Apply a thin layer to your natural nail and add a small drop of glue to the back of the press-on nail for extra adhesion.
Less is more — using too much glue can cause the nail to slide during application and squeeze out around the edges.
Press at an angle
Line the press-on up against your cuticle line, lower it at roughly a 45° angle, then press down firmly and hold for 5 seconds each nail. Work out from the cuticle to avoid air bubbles.
Settle the set
Repeat for all ten, then avoid water and heavy hand-work for the first 30 minutes so the bond can fully cure.
Avoid
- Don't apply glue onto your cuticle or surrounding skin.
- Don't flood the nail with glue — pooling weakens the hold and can lift the edges.
- Don't skip the alcohol wipe and buff; oil and shine are the main reasons a set pops early.
